What is Artisan Leaders?
  • Artisan Leaders is an organization dedicated to leadership development and mentoring with a focus on integrating faith into the workplace to help members thrive in business, family and faith.
  • We achieve this through monthly meetings where guild members commit to learn, trust, transparency, and accountability.
  • Each guild group is led by experienced, God-honoring coaches who apply spiritual principles to workplace challenges and opportunities while fostering the development of personal and professional skills.
What inspired the name ‘Artisan Leaders’?
  • The term ‘artisan’ refers to a skilled worker who undergoes formal training in a trade, beginning as an ‘apprentice’ and progressing to a ‘journeyman’ under the guidance of a master ‘craftsman’.
  • After learning from a master Craftsman and demonstrating proficiency, an Apprentice becomes a Journeyman, gaining more autonomy and mentoring others.
  • A true Craftsman continues to refine and expand their skills through experience and continuous growth in both knowledge and expertise.
What problem is Artisan Leaders solving?

Most Christians spend 2-4 hours a week in worship or Bible study but are left to ‘figure out’ how to apply biblical principles on their own. A small percentage participate in accountability or friend groups, but these often focus either on further Bible study or social gatherings. Very little time is dedicated to direct and intentional application, training, exhortation, and encouragement to successfully integrate faith into the workplace and home. Accordingly, most people struggle with successfully and fully integrating their faith into the workplace.

What does ‘integrating faith into the workplace’ mean?

Many people struggle with aligning their faith with their work, often feeling the need to compartmentalize. They try to “fit in” at a secular workplace by adopting human-driven principles and practices to please others rather than serving as a light that reflects God’s glory. By applying biblical principles in all we do, we can develop characteristics and skills that enable us to forge better relationships and be outstanding leaders, managers, and employees–working and serving “as unto the Lord.”

Why is the application of biblical principles so important…and so difficult to do without training?
  • In every aspect of life, improvement requires more than just knowledge–it demands application. Gaining knowledge is the first step, but true wisdom comes from practicing what we learn. Whether in work, school, sports, the arts, or hobbies, we improve by learning from experienced mentors, practicing continuously, receiving feedback, and refining our skills.
  • Without the practiced application of biblical principles, we may hear great ideas but fail to act on them, ultimately failing to become the person we want to be (James 1:22-25).
  • Jesus used the mentoring/discipling method to help his disciples translate His teachings into their lives, impacting and shaping their attitudes and actions. He taught them spiritual principals, but then used everyday examples to explain how to implement them (e.g., parables). He did this while ‘walking alongside them’ in everyday activities, guiding and teaching as life’s situations presented themselves.

Business owners and executives will learn how to cultivate a strong workplace culture built on trust, accountability, gratitude, and teamwork. This type of culture drives business success by outperforming competitors, retaining top talent, and developing a workforce of trusted advisors and leaders.

How will Artisan Leaders help me perform better at work and at home?
  • We are created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27). As our Creator, He knows how we can best excel both personally and relationally–with co-workers, customers, vendors, neighbors, and family. To maximize our behavior, influence, and leadership, we must understand and apply His principles in all aspects of life and business.
  • By following biblical principles and learning from godly mentors, you can succeed in the workplace while thriving at home. Through the support of a Guild community and an experienced coach who has navigated similar challenges, you’ll gain the tools to achieve a healthy work-life balance while excelling in your career.
What does it mean to ‘thrive’ and how will Artisan Leaders help me find more joy and peace?

Many people live in a constant state of anxiety, fear, or even “imposter syndrome,” doubting their abilities. Wisdom, mentorship, and training can help develop the skills, understanding, and mindset needed to build confidence.
